1. NAME OF CONSULTANCY

The consultancy is known as "BONTLE JWA TSHEPO"

2. OBJECTIVES
  • To reduce the spread of HIV/ AIDS through education and training to the PWA's and affected families on how to cope with the virus

  • Motivational talks

  • Personal testimonies

  • To speak and deliver true facts / messages on HIV/AIDS

  • To assist on opening Community Centres in our nine provinces

  • To network with different organisations, private sectors, churches on different projects, not forgetting to make referrals

  • Training on nutrition will be taught

  • Delivering skills and knowledge to members of "Positive Place for Positive People"

  • Running workshops, conferences etc.

  • Provide adequate medical care and psychosocial support to PWA's and affected family members, including orphans

  • Give necessary support and encouragement to HIV/ AIDS research activities, including operational research to help build an effective response

  • Later on the Centre will be opened in Taung (North West Province)

3. MAIN FOCUS AREAS

  • Development of youth, women, men

  • Promote (IEC): Information, Education, and Communication as the most effective intervention to date

  • Encourage faithful sexual relationships

  • Promote the use of condoms in high risk situations

  • Minimize other unsafe practises such as risky traditional procedures, ensure safe medical practises to protect patients and providers

  • Provide diagnosis and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases

  • Protect the Human Rights of PWA's by networking with clinics and health professionals

  • Upgrade HIV/AIDS surveillance and reporting to ensure adequate understanding of the epidemic and the effected of intervention

  • Counsel and encourage PWA's to notify others

5. VISION

To break confidentiality and reduce the spread of HIV/ AIDS through education and training to the PWA'S and their affected families on how to cope with the virus and to see the affected families and PWA'S being involved in shaping the life styles of our communities by educating sharing/ testimony etc on true facts of HIV/AIDS epidemic, so as to have a healthy living nation or society from generation to generation.

6. SHORT TERM GOALS

  • To open a fully fledged offices in 3 month within Gauteng province so as to operate professionally and allow PWA'S and their families access to information regarding their status and how to cope with the virus

  • To market the consultancy to companies and interested individuals and attract the involvement of at least 3 companies in 3 -6 months

  • To be involved within the SACC through training, motivational talks, personal
    testimonies etc

  • To involve HIV/ AIDS and sexual education and communication challenges to
    learners and people of South Africa
7. LONG TERM GOALS
  • To have offices in each of our 9 provinces in South Africa

  • To expand to neighbouring countries in the Southern Africa region
