surrounded by small hills and plantation next to the Indwe river.
An eldest daughter amongst six children, i.e. three sons and
three daughters, of Mr. Johnson and Mrs. Linah Maqidlana.
As we grew up our parents were struggling to maintain us since
they were just ordinary peasants with a small flock of sheep
and few cattle. We survived out of that disastrous experience.
Now I'm an educator at B.B.Mdledle J.S.S and I work hard as
to fullfil my pledge. Fortunately I'm blessed with five kids
in my marriage.

M.N.Filo
|
I was born at Askeaton location under chief Stokwe of Amaqwathi
Administration on the 01-02-1949. I am the only daughter of
Mr & Mrs J.D. Filo. I lost my father on August 1983 and
my mother had to take over as a primary provider.
I am a grown up, strong, single parent who is admired by the
only son teaching out at Bakaneni Senior Primary School at Lady
Frere, my two daughters who are doing Grade 10&11 at Mazibuko
S.S.S including my two grand children. Even though I work hard
there is recreation time each day.
My greatest wish is to help each other stop crime and infectious
diseases. Learners should have decent education because it is
a key to success.
I thank God for the golden opportunity He has granted me for
educating the 'black child.'
May God bless all educators and various organizations.

Coming from Mceula location in Cala, my parents were blessed
to have me as their beloved daughter amongst others. My parents
were just ordinary living out nothing except selling hides,
bones, milk and products they have harvested.
I grew up being a nasty, naughty kid wearing my eldest sisters'
clothes, mother's jacket and the like. Friends used to laugh
at me and I felt a disgrace but that was life. Oh! What an experience,
yes it was bad.
I attended school at Mceula J.S.S, Matanzima S.S.S and Arthur
Tsengiwe training college. Then I started teaching at B.B.Mdledle
J.S.S . I also registered with the University of South Africa
to do my Bachelor of Arts degree which I completed in 1999.
Presently I'm a teacher at B.B.Mdledle school. A netball team
manager here at school. In the long run I wish to register for
B.A. honors.

C.C.Zito
|
Under Sifonondile A/A in Cala is a small area known as Siphafeni. This
area is located in a mountainous area with bushes and shrubs.
My parents chose this place to rear their livestock. Though
the area is totally unhygienic for people but it is worth living.
An under developed area with no roads, no electricity or what
so ever. This is where I, Chwayita Zito, was born being the
second born amongst four children in the family.
Although my parents were uneducated, they were a good example
because they strived to give their children education. I attended
school at Siphafeni J.P.S, Qiba J.S.S and Cala S.S.S. from there
I went to Arthur Tsengiwe training college then I started teaching
at B.B.Mdledle J.S.S in 1993.
I was actively involved in sport, e.g. netball and athletics.
In class I was a prefect for my classroom. When I was employed
as an educator, I became a recording secretary of Xalanga Science
Teachers' Association. I was also appointed as a Science Key
Teacher for the Cala district in Bisho in 2001.
Currently, at school I am a choir conductor, a Science facilitator
and the chairperson of the School advisory Committee. Because
I am so interested in Science as a subject, I would like to
be one of the Science Advisors in South Africa. I would also
like to be one of the Advisory Committee members in the Department
of Education, also to improve Science and Technology instruction
in my school.
