| The Department of Art, Culture,Science and
Technology promote the importance of Science, Engineering and Technology
to the public and especially all school children throughout the country,
especially in rural areas. |
| The ICT centres were opened up to all
teachers, schoolchildren and community members. The centre managers,
trained by the CSIR, demonstrated their skills in training learners
and educators.
The CSIR promoted this event by having the Lubisi MPCC members
showcase their newly acquired PC skills to the MEC Stone Sizani
and Eskom representatives.
