| I am Eliot Batatu, the last born son of James Batatu and Nomountain Batatu. I was born at Maqashu village under the Mhlontlo tribal authority. | ||
| I grew up living with my parents. My parents live on cattle and sheep and farming. They used cattle in the farm to hoe and work in the farm and garden. I started school at age nine at Qutubeni Junior Secondary School. I later went to Maqhashu J.S S. | ||

| I stay at Maqhashu village, it's a dry area in the North-East of Lubisi Dam. It is an undeveloped area where people have always depended on working in the fields. It is located near Lubisi Dam along the Indwe river. It's surrounded by four schools. The community stay far from town and there is a lack of transport. I'm looking after a herd of cattle and a flock of sheep |
