I'm the ninth child out of twelve, the son of the late Bishop B.B.
Kene who was brought to the planet earth on the 07/07/1970. The
parents were blessed with a dozen of children, six boys and six
girls. I lived with my mom, young brothers and sisters attending
school. I was looking after my fathers cattle as it was our
pride.
I always remember those days when I was a little boy chatting with
friends in the fields watching and listening to birds singing, then,
life was an enjoyable experience. Many problems were encountered
but everything was done in preparation for our future. We used to
practice stick fighting, singing folksongs. I was fortunate, for
my parents sent me to school though I was sometimes tempted to leave
school and go look for work in the gold mines with a little influence
from my peers. Now Im proud of my parents.
I appeared in the admission registers of B.B.Mdledle junior secondary
school, the Mpeko senior, and the Cala secondary schools. I later
went to Arthur Tsengiwe college of Education.
After returning from the initiation school, a man is expected to
have a partner. Coming from amaNtande clan I met a young daughter
from Cihoshe clan and we tied the knot. We have uMvuyisi, our only
child. "A man shall live his father and be united with his
wife and together be one flesh.
