My name is Valentia Nthabiseng Dube

WELCOME TO MY SITE

I am a South African born on the 16th of September 1974 at Krugersdorp,in the former Transvaal now known as the Gauteng Province.

Background

I started school in a town called Vryburg in the former Northern Cape, now known as the North-West Province.
I started schooling in 1981 at Moeti Primary school in Huhudi Township doing grade 1-4 until 1984. In 1995 until 1997 I moved to John Frylinck Higher Primary school doing grades 5-7. Later on in 1988 I moved to Bopaganang Public school continued with grades 8-12 and completed in 1993.

Due to financial hardships, I could'nt further my education after completing grade 12. In 1996 I was admitted at Vaal Triangle Technicon to study Human Resource Management. I was granted a bursary/Loan by TEFSA the first year of my studies due to satisfactory performance.

I successfully completed my studies on record time in 1998. On the 19th of March 1999 I was graduating.

I landed my first permanent job with Ex-Combatant Association Computer Training & Telecentre on the 2nd of July 2001.The ECA is a non governmental Organization.

• Do not rely on 'Good things come to those who wait' rather rely on 'Good things come to those who work and wait', do not fold your arms waiting for good things to come to you.
  
• Mistakes are just a way of learning and everybody makes them, and always remember people are quick to criticize and slow to give credit.
  
• Always remember, when you choose a behavior you choose the consequences at the same time.
  
• When you need advice, ask for it but be the decision maker because at the end the decision will affect you, not the Advisor.
  
• Do not react when you are angry, allow time to cool off.
  
• Learn to forgive and forget and live a positive life, revenge does not pay
  
• Live your life now, do not live in the past because you will never go anywhere and do not live it in the future because nobody knows what the future holds.
  
• Rather count your blessings than what you do not have because you will never stop counting
